Do I need my own guitar?
If you have booked, "My First Guitar Lesson" then, no. You are welcome to borrow one of my guitars, just to test the waters without diving in.
If you have booked anything other than my first lesson, or once you have decided to have more lessons then, yes. you will need you own guitar as practice is key to improving and materials taught in lessons need to be practiced at home.
Do I need to be able to read music?
Absolutely not! If it is something you'd like to be able to do, we can work on it. However, being able to ready notation or TAB isn't always necessary on guitar and we can learn things by ear and though many other methods.
Where are you based?
I am based in Huddersfield and the surrounding area. If you are unsure if you are in close enough for a lesson, contact me (above) and we can discuss. online lessons are also available.
Where do lessons take place?
This is up for discussion. I provide a distraction free area of my house to practice and do lessons, but they can also be held online or in a suitable venue of your choosing (usually your home) if it also works for me.
